The applicant to the Doctor in Philosophy of Linguistics Program must:

• Hold a Master’s Degree in Linguistics (either form UAQ or another Institution) or similar studies
• Have basic Linguistics knowledge
• Hold psychological and sociological processes knowledge related to Language.
• Reckon on training in Social Sciences /humanities that allow them to comprehend linguistic processes.
• Have the capacity and readiness to adapt to new knowledge.
• Possess a specific interest in one of the research lines that are conducted in the Doctors in Philosophy.
• Understand English texts (a minimum 500 TOEFL score required).
• Compromise to have full time readiness to perform all the academic activities that the program demands.
